Folks
Quickie ... I had my Noble (3R) with 1995 miles on it and it had a 6K service then ... Its now just over 6300 so I assuming its next due circa 8K miles?

Ring the dealer / factory to double check if you are at all concerned.

It is every 6000 miles, or 12 months, whichever sooner, if it had a service when he bought it then it is due 12 months or 6k miles after that (8k miles if it had 2 on to begin with).
If you had a service done at 12 months with 5.5k miles on the next service would be due at 24 months or 11.5 k miles, not 6k miles.

The point I was making was that various things are replaced at the "major" ones that aren't at the minor ones - so it is (I would have thought) important to have the 12k one done at the right time - so I wouldn't have a "6k" service done at the 8000 miles and then wait until 14000 to have the 12k one done.
If you have the 12k done at 8000 then you can get back into the normal regime (or at least that is the advice I had when I hit a similar problem around the 9000 mark after my engine swap - I was advise to have the 12k at 12k, not 9000+6000 as non-engine components are replaced at the 12k...)

You couldn't have a 6k done at 8k miles though? It has to be done at 6k or 12 months, the question was when is the next due, 12 months or 6k after the last one, unless I'm being really thick?
Worth trying Kerridges. From what I remember, their 6k service was very reasonably priced indeed.
