Not seen one of these in this section yet so here's mine , what a tremendous little car , peach of an engine , great manual box . Standard tyres are not the best so I will be fitting some Michelin when the bridgestones wear out , this is my first car with a supercharged engine and I don't know why I've never had one before , love it . Grab one while you still can , I think there is about 5 or so for sale on autotrader/ eBay right now , and hopefully increase in price as only 100 cars in the uk . A lot of people will not 'get ' the car and say just buy a fiesta ST , good car the fiesta , but this Yaris is better and defo not following the crowd . I use it as a daily at the moment seems to cope fine with the daily duties even though it's a little bit of a faf getting the daughter in the back for the school run , but it's worth it just fir that drive home alone .

Thanks for the positive comments, and links to reviews of the Yaris , most are pretty good I’ve watched them all , in the name of research before buying the car , this has to be one of the best cars I’ve owned and I’ve had a few probably well over 40 , with a lot of hot hatches and the car this replaced was a mk3 RS focus , Clio 182 was a firm favourite, this Yaris is better than the 182 , I’ve done the German stuff BMW 335i , golf R , didn’t gel with these cars , mk3 RS was good but but not as goof as the mk2 I owned . The overriding factor is the lightweight of this car it’s felt everywhere, breath of fresh air in a world of overweight modern cars , I’ve owned a 190bhp caterham not long ago and while its not as fast , its definitely as much fun .

Hi, it's a great car, because Lotus were heavily involved in the vehicles development and production build. It's the same specification as the engine in the current Elise and if you look hard enough you'll see the Lotus ECU tucked at the back of the engine bay!

I thought this was developed by the Toyota Motorsport boys?Regards,

Looks great, if I was in the market for a new build hot hatch, this would definitely be one of the top choices for me if not the top choice. I've had a Starlet Turbo before and a supercharged corolla so a fan of performance Toyotas. I can imagine getting one of these in the future when prices bottom out.
