BMW dashcam eye

Had the BMW dashcam eye fitted by the dealer when purchasing my new x5. now we find an irritating audible beep beep when going over speed bumps ( slow) dips in the road and on one occasion it played a tune when going over cats eyes on the motorway.
Could not figure out where the sound was coming from , booked it in to local dealer ( not supplying ) for check out as I thought it might be an air suspension thing. Apparently its the g sensor in the dashcam , cannot be adjusted etc etc .
Now I have contacted BMW customer services but has anyone else experienced similar with the BMW system ?

If it’s the same model as in my BMW, you can turn the sound off altogether... Big screen on the back, clear plastic fitting attaching it to the windscreen?

Yep - "sporty" suspension and a lack of adjustment. Bet that'll be annoying

Why can't you change settings? Aren't these just rebranded generic dashcams?

The eye manual has instructions on how to alter the sensitivity. It is done through the app on your phone.

I have one fitted to my i8 and I don't get the constant noises you describe.

many thanks for replies. vehicle is x drive so softer suspension than m sport . does it in comfort and sport . checked app and there is sound adjustment so will give it a go , cheers
