One for the OBD gurus out there.

I have an Autool X60 OBD gauge & would ideally like to fit another, does anyone know if with one OBD device installed another will be able to show other data?

I ask because when I tried to use a Y-cable socket splitter to connect a code reader I have it would not work, so I had to remove the gauge to allow it to work, so I am unsure.

Only one device at a time for OBD 2 data

Someone has possibly built something to switch between devices and if so will have put a big price tag on it, not seen anything though

No personal experience but I've heard of people using an OBD2 splitter to drive satnav and a fault code reader at the same time so I guess it may be OK at the physical level. But this might rely on the two devices communicating with different modules to avoid tripping over each other, and I suppose your gauges would be accessing the same one. You may need to replace the original gauge with a compound gauge/dashboard to get this working.

I’ve got 2 Aeroforce scan gauges working off one OBD port. Requires a splitter which they sell.
