For all well balanced PHers, fed up with LBGT issues, veganism, cyclists, climate change lies, and anything else which may become fashionable for the far left Camden set.

An incredibly important message being delivered by idiots to the wrong people ... Whilst I freely admit that we (as a global population) have to do something, XR are making themselves look like tits and aiming their protests at the wrong people.
The UK as a nation emits much, much less than the rest of the world, and whilst it's certainly not great, especially in densely populated area like London, Bristol, Birmingham etc we as a country are still way, way behind the likes of China, USA, India and even the likes of South Korea!
From a personal point of view, I recycle what I can, think about when I need to drive (Use public transport to get work in the centre of the city) and try to use as little non-recyclables as possible. However, when the top 15 of the worlds polluters make up more than 2/3rds of global Co2 emissions (which we are not in) it seems like we're doing a lot in comparison.

Can we do better? Of course we can.
But it grates a little when XR, and in general the media seem to ignore this inconvenient truth and berate us to stop walking, go vegan and blame industries, when we're one of the smaller polluters in the world, but don't ever badger the India, Korean, or US embassies to prompt them into action.

ok i will qualify thatthe base message about our lack of progress in dealing with humanities impact on the planet over the last 30 years is very poor and we could do an awful lot more now and over the next 5 - 10 year if there was political will to do it (and the politicians stopped pocketing oil and car industries money)
the way they are presenting the argument and the demonstrations are just self defeating, none of them seam to be able to debate coherently
They need to get 'Jonathan Pie' to become their speaker lol
