Can anyone enlighten me to the following please-
Is there such a thing as a 4 door monaro?
If not are there any 4 door hsvs beyond 2001 as the limited few that ive seen for sale are that age.
thanks

In a word no.

There are some private imports hear after 2000 but really there are about 30 4 dr HSV's in the uk being official UK imports. What that means is they re-badge the Clubport to GTS.

Have a look at the lead item on the Pistonheads home page it appears LSV are having a bit of a clear out.

There is no such thing as a 4 door Monaro.
In fact the Monaro is a 2 door holden Commodore.

In this country there are:
5 HSV GTS-UK (Clubsport R8 in Oz) built in 2001.
2 HSV GTS-R UK (GTS 300 in Oz) built in 2001.
Imported with HSV factory blessing by Geniune Import Vehicles.

After that GIV stopped trading to let Vauxhall import Monaros.

Be aware that that the registration of these cars may be misleading as the build date and registration date can be very different.
I have a personal import GTS300 that was built april 2001, but I can plate is as a 52 plate as it was registered in Nov 2002.

There are a couple of 2003/2004 personal import Commodores (including KiwiHSVs).

The Monaro is a roomy car if you are thinking about one?

Cheers, Eric

thanks alot.
I have been through two 2 -doors cars in a row, kidding myself that we would get by with baby and I have to concede I need a 4 door.

Import a Cadillac CTS-V, live with the LHD and kick some butt with the 400bhp Z06 engine.

The Chrysler 300C is on the way in RHD form and the SRT-8 will hopefully improve the soft handling of the stock 300C. A downside with these cars is the deactivation top a 4 cylinder when power isn't needed. It's always needed...

Or better still get a Supercharged HSV 4dr, live an easy life with RHD & join the supercar performance league with 500+ bhp.

Linden have two unregistered four door Holdens (375bhp and 410bhp), plus a selection of S/H cars up to a supercharged GTS-R.
