Have no idea if these kits are desirable but thought I'd post them up. For sale in my local charity shop widow, have n=been for a few weeks. Look complete but am no expert.

Where's local?

I don't build civilian cars or trucks but lots of modellers do.

desirable? Yes - likely not at that price though

eBay suggests the Monza is quite "rare", probably wrong side of the Atlantic to find the best market for it though. Scalemates website shows that as the original 1978 release, new parts added in 1985 and the box art changed, hasn't been released since.

As above, they'd definitely appeal more in the US than over here, I think they will be in that shop window for a while at that price.

They've been there a couple of months already and just been reduced. Manager thinks he runs an antique shop, everything in there seems to labelled vintage or collectable with a price to match.

I'll admit, in a hushed voice, I'm active around this arena - low quality, period custom "annual" based Yank stuff - but even these have very little appeal! That said the Monogram pickup will be nicely tooled but I can't imagine there's anyone in the world who is seeking an early 80's custom Monza kit! Worth a fiver just for curiosity's sake...but no more

Came across this recently in a Charity Shop for £20- decided against it which was probably a daft idea as they seems quite desirable on ebay.

Definitely a bargain at £20 - especially if all there.

I find quite a lot of stuff in charity shops is a bit ambitiously priced. It's great if they can get that price, of course, but with no idea of whether the things are complete you'd have to be quite brave to pay that unless spares are available. Trouble is, even if it was something I wanted, I wouldn't feel right about trying to bid them down.

One of our local charity shops (we've got 4 in a very small town!) was asking £12 for old Airfix Series 1 kits and £20 for a 1/48 Gavia Lysander which had the original retail price of £18.50 underneath their sticker.

There’s a 1/24 airfix mosquito going for £75 at a Dr Barnardos near me! Battered box and no idea if that’s too much.

I did pick up a mint Cambridge audio sub for £20 though👍
