Nurburgring track day - 29th June

Manthey Racing are holding a full Nordschliefe track day on Wednesday 29th June - 09:00 to 17:00.

Full circuit - open pit lane - no boikers (sorry) - all day - heaven on Earth :driving:

They'll be demo-ing some of their fancy kit and racecars, with instructors etc, full support, catering, etc.

Should be of particular interest to Porsches, but other makes are apparently welcome.

I think it's currently undersubscribed - with 50-odd cars for the whole day - 490 Euros/car.

I've not been on one of their track days before (I'm not actually sure they've every run any) - but they normally do things very well and given the number of cars going and the size of the track - you'll be lucky to see any other cars while lapping!
I'm very happy with the public laps that I do (> 200/year) and am not normally looking to spend extra money on Ring track days - but this will be a real treat - mixing it with some race cars, virtually empty track, no bikes, mechanics on hand, etc etc.
I know some of the racers instructing and they're track knowledge (and speed) is superb - in fact I was studying some MoTeC data from some laps only last night.

Was there with RMA week before last and only around 40 cars - superb. Have e-mailed Manthey to book it.

I'd love to go. Perhaps you fellas would have an idea of what defines an acceptable car?

I totally understand otherwise, as it is aimed at Porsche enthusiests/ owners. Enthusiest yes, owner no!!!
