Corsa 2008 1l - potential for modding?
Discussion
Recently bought a 1l 2008 corsa. Slow as **** and has a few issues that need sorting. I'd like to do something about the lack of horsepower and general speed but I'm not sure how much can be done given the small engine etc.
What sort of parts should I look at replacing first and does this kind of car really have any potential for modding/upgrading taking cost into consideration?
Thanks

Would 298bhp be enough? Not my ad btw, but would provide you with enough power I'd imagine! Insurance might be a bit costly...

NOT MY ADVERT!
£1000 on your corsa won't make much of a difference, but could get you this

OP,
As a 2008 car, if you did manage to add any meaningful power to it, the clutch might let go sooner, and that could set you back a few hundred. That’s just an example.
Sort the issues, drive it and look after it. Maybe fit sportier springs and dampers? That’d make it a bit more fun.
