I know you probably get lots of these, but this is my first time remortgaging so just wanted to check I am doing things correctly & not missing any tricks.

Nationwide fixed term @ 2.69% coming to an end; they offered 2 year fix @ 1.39%, with a 67% LTV.

I noticed the valuation they had used for the house looked a bit low compared with Zoopla etc, they agreed to increased it accordingly so LTV is now 63%.

So now my plan is to do a lump overpayment of ~6k from savings before the remortgage to get the LTV below 60%, which then puts me in the lower rate band & allows a 1.29% fix.
The £6k savings were only in a 1.5% ISA, so using them instead to drop 0.1% on a £180k mortgage loan seems a good idea.

Am I missing anything?
