She's just a moron, is she actually suggesting that all the fire brigade were exclusively white and everyone that lived in Grenfell Tower was an an black/brown/mixed race and on the night of the fire they all decided to become racist.

Utter rubbish but no at all surprising loony left news Channel 4 are broadcasting it.

Surprised she sticks around if racism is that bad people die over it.

How is the fire service in her/ her parents country of origin?

I’m sure it’s tip top.

The level of ungratefulness from many immigrants is breathtaking.

Some refugee with 8 kids from an African s***hole country
moaning about mould in the fourth bedroom of her London council flat.

I seriously doubt that the first dozen fire crews to attend the scene had any idea of the demographic of people that lived in that tower. And she has no idea what she’s talking about.

Her statement is quite frankly up there with a fascist hate crime. And should be dealt with in that exact context.

However, if that had been a tower full of millionaire Chelsea socialites, entrepreneurs and old wealth, the tragic fire would not have happened, and we wouldn’t have been talking about this. Because safety standards would have been much higher, and a flammable cover up of an ugly building wouldn’t have been agreed upon by the local authority.

Grenfell is a MASSIVE national disgrace. It should never have happened.

As for the fire brigade.... welll, mistakes, with hindsight, were made. But not by the rank and file people arriving in fire engines. You need to look at the senior management and those that have policy making and H&S quals.

Seriously?

I'd have thought the way that line of thought went for Trump might be a hint.

To be fair, that fire was unique, never seen before where the outside caught fire, which negated the whole thinking of staying in the apartments as the safest place.

If the fire standards are different for poor people, why are so many private flats also fitted with the same insulation? Can you point me to the different sets of standards for poor/rich?

Some people see everything through a prism of race.

While paradoxically thinking those of us that don't are the racist ones.

Yes quite simple. Those flats may have had the same exterior cladding as others. But unlike high value properties there was no other adequate fire prevention measures, inadequate alarms, no sprinklers systems, inadequate fire doors, inadequate maintaince, only one stairwell, overcrowding, no central air conditioning, and no external escape means. Smoke entered sealed flats above the fire whicy isn’t supposed to happen. People died of smoke inhalation in their flats long before flames consumed them. That’s not supposed to happen.

You need to look past the cladding. You need to ask why the fire on the outside of a building filled the stairwell full of smoke. Why were the windows in he block open, and those that were closed, badly fitted.

The authority tarted those flats up cosmetically. They made bad decisions based on price for the cladding. Then they failed to spend money on the other security and safety features that a private developer looking to sell those flats would have been obaliged to do in order to sell to the private sector.

they made bad decisions based on endemic incompetence, ignorance and indifference. I've done work in various ways for LAs/HAs over the years and the stupidity, wastefulness, refusal to take advice and general attitude that puts every employee in a "just put your head down and do the dumb thing" mode.

Shameful where this cynical and exploitative attack comes from, it used to be the lefties for whom the likes of firefighters and nurses etc were untouchables

Not sure of the hate for Channel 4 over this, they just put out what she says, for ridicule or praise. The criticism should be targeted at her.

Would you think it inappropriate to broadcast Trump saying something offensive?
