I believe the correct term is 'spawned'.

I'm still here

Nothing happening as of yet... I've eaten my pineapple and am going for a longish walk to the pub this evening where I will be having a hot curry

I've heard that curried beetroot sandwiches help too! y'know... if you want the baby to come that badly!!

Glad to hear that we've not missed anything. All the best anyway! Look forward to the big announcement when it comes!

Edit: Oh and eaten a pineapple?!! I think that's was just a metaphor for what it feels like when it comes out - not that you're meant to eat one... Thank god you didn't read the one about shoveing it somewhere as that it what it feels like too!

Good luck Mrs F. I've got four kids and my missus always goes over-term. We do, however, know of a 100% reliable (four out of four) way of "self inducement". I won't elaborate any further, other than to say it's more effective than a walk and a curry!

I'm told that nookie (the activity, not the irritating puppet) will encourage things to start moving. But I'm not sure we need a bulletin on whether you tried it and if it worked or not Mrs F

Sperm has the same properties and therefor, a quick 'Hows ya father' can encourage the nipper to pop its head out.
