Just that, looking for recommendations really! Servicing the brakes on my FZ6 S2 today and it's becoming clear the seals are getting tired. As part of a planned series of upgrades on the bike I think I should get this sorted. Preferably somewhere I can ride to, they do it, then I ride away. I'd rather not be sending them away to Peterborough or whatever as I would really rather not subject myself to the Tube if I can help it.

I did have to remove, post, refit and bleed but I had great service from Powerhouse in Chesterfield.

I second FWR.
Top blokes, been taking my bikes there since i started riding. Always happy to help and do a great job. Won't do unnecessary work which doesn't need doing just to charge you extra!
Highly recommend.

If you have trouble there, try Stewarts Motorcycles in sunbury. He's exceptional and works very carefully. generally sticks to using genuine parts unless he has reason to trust non-OEM parts. Very experienced. If you chat with him, it is more than likely he can do the work while you wait (and will probably be happy to teach you how to do it yourself)

If you're not confident, buy another set of calipers and replace the seals in them yourself. That way if you mess anything up (not sure how you could tbh) then you're still able to ride the bike.

You could have a set of overhauled calipers on the bench and rotate them out.

If you want to try, start with the rear caliper as it's probably a single or two pistons, rather than possibly 6 x 2.

Thanks everyone. I'm quite confident in doing it, I just can't really be bothered to. I travel a lot with work and spending loads of time on the driveway at the weekend when I could be seeing the wife instead. I've done lots of work on my bikes over the years (some of you may remember the Oval Motorcycle Centre - I used to live there when I owned a Ducati...).

I'll have to book it into FWR then. Now all I need to decide is what shock I want on it...has anyone ever run a Shock Factory shock?
