Alarm's

Getting well into the built now and would like to know what type of alarm to fit plus the cost's to expect, I have been looking at Steve's central locking and wonderd wheather many of you have fitted this kind of device.

Rich, am in the process of fitting central locking with a Toad alarm system. Not quite ready to fit yet but entire process will be covered on my website v.soon as loom is next to be fitted.

I used a toad alarm, the thatcham 1's start at £250 (one I had) upwards.

In my experience I rate the toad alarms above the Clifford C4 unit I also have.

Central locking should not cost much as they normaly work these as std and the door motors are quite cheap to buy.
The major cost will be the time it takes to develope the mechanism..... fortunatelly there is someone already doing this for you
