Some of you may know i have been having problems with my chavvy neighbors.

Due to this i rigged up a microphone near my window and recorded it.

Now one of my plans were to go round there with an audio cd of it and give it to the parents with the polite request of - "this has got to stop - now!" However could i be done for recording them? The mic is in my house and its increadibly clear sound because they are so f**king loud!!!

No. There are no laws against this.

Alternatively, face your speakers out of your window and play it back to them at full volume.

Do as DVD suggests go and have a word with your local Environmental Health. They will send out a warning letter, if that fails they can issue a Noise Abatement Order which if broken carries a hefty fine.
