My 14 year old lad wants a gaming chair for Christmas to use with his PC. There appear to be a lot to choose from with prices ranging from £60 to almost a grand. Don’t want to spend more than £250. Recommendations welcome.

Not traditional gamer chair but along the same lines.
Can reccomend FK automotive's chairs.

Mines has been solid for a year, quick wipe down and looks brand knew out of the box and actually very comfy for a "gaming" type chair, Dont tell those herman millar fanboi's though, they will convince you your son needs a £800 ergonomic science chair

The branded gaming chair types seem to be hit or miss in terms of quality with either poor material or bad construction.

FK automotive ones can also been found on ebay from uk sellers, I got mines from here but in all black.

Been using this since early 2018 and its pretty damn good.

Edit: I know its not a gaming chair but after a good while in those "gaming chairs" they are pretty uncomfy compared to this.

It might be wise to wait until Black Friday before purchasing anything like this.
