Asking for a friend, genuinely laugh.

A friend, in his mid 30's has been working in advertising sales for a relatively small (<100) company for most of his life since graduating. The job has always paid well through salary increases and commission so he's stayed put. However, career progression has been slow and the job satisfaction in terms of mental stimulation and personal achievement is no longer there.

He has a huge passion for music and in his spare time (evenings and occasional weekends) teaches the violin and music theory to pupils of all ages. He is also interested in languages, being fluent in both French and Italian. His degree was in these languages. He's very motivated and hard-working but like many people, has simply fallen into his current career without any intention.

He's now desperate to do something more fulfilling and preferably a job which utilises his skills in music and languages. Teaching, as he does in the evenings is very rewarding, however the monetary potential simply isn't there as there's just so much you can charge per hour and only so many hours in the day.

He's keen for ideas on a business he can either start up of his own or an existing job role he could look for. I suggested becoming an international violin dealer, importing high-value violins from France and selling them to wealthy Chinese. However, I have literally no idea what I'm talking about laugh.

Does anyone have suggestions on well-paid job opportunities which may exist, whether self employed or career based for a cooperation, which evolve around the use of english/italian/french languages or classical music (i.e. violin)?

High end string instrument dealers have a need for trustworthy, multilingual couriers
with knowledge of such instruments, to take them to prospective clients.
