There's a couple of videos floating around on Instagram of the bike in testing...IL4 by the sound of it...

Looks a bit wide for a V4, I suspect it's an IL4.

Fireblade has always been IL4, can't imagine it'll be a V4.

The width could be misleading, didn't they have different distances between the cylinder front to back to slim it down towards the driver?

May have made that up but seem to remember it.

I think the additional width will come from the new aero, though it's hard to see in the video with all the camo stuff all over it...

Deff IL4. Closer look and that frame looks very very similar to the current one. I.e the 08 frame frown

Im guessing similar to current bike but lots of detail changes like 100grams shaved off the cylinder head cover which a road tester will say he can feel as he flicks it from side to side.....

It'll be a step forward if they can only have the throttle open when the rider twists the grip

If they do a V4 it will more than likely be a RVF and run alongside the Fireblade, which ever way they go I wish they would just get on with it and make one smile

Active aero apparently, shame no V4 though, would've been good to see a proper change

I saw V-Tech (Yo!!1!) mentioned in one of the Instagram posts; if they do as good a job as BMW seem to have done with the new motor, it could be a good'un!!

That's the exploding BMW motor you're referring to?

Are they going bang?? I hadn’t read anything about that to be honest but Suzuki are running VVT as well, so it must be the ‘in’ thing for the IL4s...

Various issues from gearbox to the shift cam system breaking. They've only just restarted supply. Not the most auspicious start! The Suzuki is fine afaik.

Didn't the last one have gearbox issues too? How do they not find this in testing?
