We've had offices for more than 20 years already and nobody looks like that.

Someone in my office does. Although think that's just how they look, not because they are a desk jockey.

I would hope in the future more companies would permit people to work from home where possible - reduced commuting = more time with family, more sleep and less stress for starters. But I've not seen people that shape just from working in an office, normally more round........

Ridiculous, hard to tell if that's photo-shopped, but I know people somewhat like that and it's a spinal disorder from birth.

I think it is fairly well established that sitting for long periods at a PC is not good for posture and many a people have suffered. I know I have.

You can go some of the way of sorting it out by setting up your desk properly.

My workplace doesn't help as we have hot desking so you cannot set up a desk to suit you personally.
