OK, this is quite interesting (to me at least, so please bear with it).
I stumbled onto a Twitter post from a right-leaning commentator, of which one fact was bent to provide the catch-line.
Whilst I don't support the subject of the incorrect suggestion (Labour Politician), I also don't like blatant or lazy reinforcement of factually incorrect media.
FTR, it's way past what could be classed as a quick, cheeky, humours dig (my opinion, obvs).
So I posted a correction.
A few replies where posted in reply, one of which showed OUTRAGE at my comment. I corrected that mistake too.
Some likes for my comments, some for the replies to my comments.
Pretty typical, nothing out of the ordinary. My Twittering really isn't popular, or inspiring, but I live with it.
OK, the interesting bit.
About 30 minute ago, activity spiked to hundreds of likes to my comments & many replies in support of them (some barley literate I'll add).
The majority by 10-1 were in favour of the politician. Which got me thinking, do the users of social media lean more to the left, or is it just a quirk?
I think they do, but I have nothing solid to back that assertion. For clarity, I'm right leaning (Adolf's dog according to some, which is a little unfair).

Also, in before "yay, aren't I popular".
