Does a car like this exist?

Currently running a Citigo and a Superb 280 estate.
Citigo is the ideal size for local business deliveries/collections and shopping, Superb is ideal for longer journeys, hobby use and DIY store visits.

Problem is, I'm using the Citigo nearly all the time, Superb gets used once a week. Seems a bit crazy to have a slow car that I use all the time, and a nice car that spends most of it's life on the driveway.
Might make more sense to have a faster, better, tiny car, and a cheaper big car for when I need it.

Better small car is easy - Up! GTi or Picanto GDi GT-Line.

Big car is more difficult. Requirements are:

Smaller footprint than a big estate car

Totally flat floor with the rear seats folded, so that I can slide big/heavy things straight in

Load area long enough to carry a 5 foot RC model boat, a grandfather clock or 8 foot lengths of wood (fold flat front passenger seat would be useful)

Load area and tailgate/loading lip opening tall enough so I don't snap the mast off my model boats. Superb is just about tall enough

Fast and comfy enough for longer journeys. Sub 10 secs to 60

35mpg plus

Budget around £10k

Only things that spring to mind are van-based, like the Partner Teepee/Berlingo/Doblo, but I'm not sure if they have totally flat load areas?

An S-Max sounds ideal for what you need although it's a bit bigger than the Skoda. The two jump seats in the boot fold flat and the three middle seats fold almost completely flat giving you a huge practical load area, plus the roof is a lot higher than a normal estate.

I had the 2.0 240bhp Ecoboost version which was surprisingly economical and regularly returned 30-35mpg on runs but the newer 1.6 Ecoboost will probably be better at achieving the mpg you're looking for.

I had a Galaxy a couple of years ago. Useful load area, but a bit bigger than what I want.

Surprisingly, the S-Max is a little shorter than the Superb estate, although it is a bit wider. Not much in it though.

Have you looked at a C-Max or something similar? Maybe even a B-Max. Obviously a bit smaller than the S-Max but might still get you the space you need. Not sure about the seats folding flat though.

I think the Berlingo/Teepee/Doblo type stuff usually features rear seats that can be removed - not sure if they fold flat though.

The later Qashqais and (I'm pretty sure) Notes have a false floor with adjustable boards that give you a flat floor. Honda have some pretty clever folding seats too, so a Civic hatch or estate might be worth a look although the ride isn't the best. CRV might be worth a try too.
