I found that video a bit shocking. Of course, we all agree the thieves are scum but this handing out of 'street justice' is not something I would expect to see in the UK.

Where should/could we go from here, is this is how we are to deal with things now? Beatings carried out before police involvement? It seems totally fair to restrain the scrote until the fuzz arrives, but this sort of diving in for some violent fun could be a slippery slope.

He’s right though. In this video we have dangerous criminals who are prepared to drive a vehicle into a shop with no consideration for the safety of anyone inside and then threaten members of the public with a weapon vs an unarmed guy on top of a train. The difference is night and day. One is a violent criminal the other is a tit.

Surely the police will be prosecuting anyone who hurt the poor thieves as that’s what we usually do in the UK ? I know the Tony Martin outrage happened under new labour but hopefully this and the XR retard being taken down suggests a new and long overdue shift / initiative under Boris and finally a move away from protecting criminals’ “rights?”

Is it usually what happens? Do you have any evidence for that statement?

Tony Martin shot 2 people with an illegally held firearm killing one of them and served just 3 years. More recently lethal force has been used by two other homeowners and they are both free and rightly so.

I agree, sort of. But ask yourself WHY have we had to reach this point? Wait until some innocent bystander or pedestrian gets mowed down by these scum - and face it, that's what they are, pure and simple... SCUM!
Half the problem is the do-gooders. If you have a problem, sort it asap. Leave it, and leave it, then it gets out of hand - as we've been seeing.
