Right, as a long time user of the forum I think it’s time I make and account and show you guys my ride. The story with this is simple, after 2 Mk1 Eunos roadsters and many rust issues I decided it was time to move on to something newer, I have loved the design of the ND ever since it was unveiled so the choice was easy. I broke my last highly modified Eunos for parts and used the money to place a decent deposit on this. Being a recaro edition it’s basically a top spec SportNav but with a few additional extras including the amazing seats.
Since owning it (around 15 months) I have spent an obscene amount on modifications that will not be to everyone’s taste, however the car drives fantastic and attracts attention everywhere it goes. So here are some pictures and a list of everything I have done so far. There will be many more updates! Oh yeah and advance warning, she has underglow, don’t cry. ????

Saw this on Facebook I think. Only complaint is there's not enough pictures. Please post more? Looks great

How's it handle after being decked that low ?

My wife has a 1.5 RF it's brilliant fun, prefered it to my old e92 m3. Thinking of getting the 184hp 2 litre in a year maybe

It handles fantastic on the Meisters! As you can imagine, a careful approach is required for speedbumps but it really is awesome to throw round corners! It was on lowering springs before these and the difference is night and day. These have made it feel like the car it should have from factory

Looks good. Not all the mods are my taste but overall I think it works really well.

I was really keen for a red Recaro edition car when I was looking but none were available. I really liked the seats and the external bodykit but wasn't too keen on the upgraded alloys. In the end I just bought the recaro edition bodykit as a dealer special offer and had it fitted to my otherwise standard ND 2.0 Nav. They really are fun cars.

The Mazdaspeed aero really does set it off, although most of mine will be replaced over time with more aggressive aftermarket items (I started with the spoiler). They are fantastic cars to drive but a suspension change really does make a world of difference. Coming from lowered mk1’s I genuinely felt like I was gonna fall out of it on the standard Bilstein setup with the roof down!

Looks great that low, you can really see what the designers were originally thinking with the shape now.

New wheels look well worthwhile to me too, I've never liked modern OEM wheels much.

Looks great mate and those new wheels will look lovely.

Only thing I would personally change is the reflectors.. I'd probably forego their functionality and colour-code them to be honest, but otherwise it looks spot on.

I really didn’t like the wheels at first but they have really grown on me, especially now there isn’t a viaduct sized arch gap. I cannot wait to fit the new ones next year although it’s going lower and will probably be a bit too “stance” for most people’s taste on here

I fitted the reflectors by choice as I thought the colour coded squares just looked like something was missing tbh, the U.K. cars come stock with colour coded blank plates, the US and JDM cars have reflectors, these are the JDM Mazdaspeed ones that have been wetsanded to remove the embossed lettering then tinted
