Honoured and privileged to be present at the first test of our car at Monticello, New York.
Owned and driven by Robillard Racing's Team Owner & Driver Joe Robillard. A wholly-professional team which came 2nd (!!!) in only its debut season in the IMSA Prototype Challenge with drivers Joe and Stevan McAleer. The team is partnered with Muehlner Motorsports America with longtime engineer (and Brummy) Marc Manning leading the technical and managerial side.

So how competitive is it, against other cars from the same era ?
The (undeveloped) original posted competitive times against the GT40 in the hands of David Hobbs and Richard Attwood in its final test at Silverstone in the summer of 1967. The following is a link to a summary I put together a few years ago.The driver of the car featured commented that, even "fresh out of the box", the car felt and handled like a properly-sorted Lola T70 - but with much more power! The car still has a lot of race development ahead of it but the potential is clearly there. The big hurdle to overcome is that its period contemporaries (GT40, P4 etc) have had the benefit of over 50 years of continuous development - this car hasn't!!

Lovely. What's in that flap behind the driver that they keep diving in to?
The car was running with a small gel race battery that wasn't up to multiple starts needed for the first testing laps - as driver Joe "crept up" on the car. The flap gives access to the battery for jump starting from a power pack.(pic taken during the car's build)
