Whilst in warranty I had my GS serviced at a BMW dealer. Expensive and questionable quality IMHO.
End of warranty was an opportunity to begin servicing it myself which has proven good fun and obviously a fair bit less expensive.
Oil changes, brake pads, final drive oil, all v straightforward on the GS and you know the job has been done right.
