Fuel Tank sender

I have recently made a st/st fuel tank for my S2 cut off swirl pot and cut out sender and rewelded them back onto the new tank.
Now i find that the sender no longer work's have checked the gauge is fine and wiring also.
The sender is the old steel type that is no longer availible .
Anybody know where i can get one from have tryed TVR parts in Devon .
Is it possible to get it repaired.

Do not take for gospel but the sender unit looks remarkably like the one I had fitted to my MGB. Never actaully tried to fit it but the locking ring arrangement loks identical. Might be worth a try.

Sorry I do not know where to get a new sender unit but I guess you already have this info' "sender part number is SF00014 and 2 tank sender sealing rings SEN00014". www.tvrseries.com walks you through how to change it.
