Buying advice on E46 325ci

Hey guys and girls, I am on the search for a used 325ci and I have found one for £3k but my concern is this cars MOT history. I'm deciding whether or not I should go for it. Any adviced appreciated. Also is it reasonable to offer £2700 in its condition?

- I am aware there is a recall on this car but would I be paying for the recall or the manufacturer?
What's the concern with the history? As far as I can see, failed on some roll bars and no windscreen fluid and was then sorted for the retest. No rust on the rear arches as far as I can see, looks in good condition. You can always offer and see what they say. Expect maybe £2800 to be agreed on.
Also, what recall is out for it? Airbags? If so, you can always try the dealership for it, but don't expect it.

The E46 Coupe in M-Sport guise is timeless. They always catch my eye, even though I own an M3 myself I never get bored of looking at M-sport E46's.
The proportions are just perfect.
I'd go view the car if interested and check for rust on the arches, door sills and bootlid areas. Heck I'd be surprised if you don't find any to be honest, unfortunately the E46 is excellent at rusting.
Check the engine idles smoothly and sounds good, revs smoothly and freely. Check all fluids especially coolant. Have a good nose y in the engine bay checking for leaks.
E46 is a solid car but unfortunately so many are neglected and they don't respond well to neglect.
My M3 is on 111k and I love it.
If there are any recalls outstanding, a dealer will do it free of charge. My M3 had a drivers airbag recall outstanding and Sytner did it free of charge, give the dealer a call if you want to check.
Mind you I'd only take it to dealer for a recall, all other work I'd do myself or use an indy specialist.
