Hi all

As above, I'd be very grateful for some help on this.

I'm coming from a 2006 Cooper and I think I'd love a Mini JCW but there aren't a lot of good ones around for sub-£10,000. This is just for me as the A6 takes car of family.

What else should I be considered? Links to cars for sale, especially from PHers who are selling would be ace.

What I'd like (but can be flexible)

1. Automatic (as city driver)
2. Small (no bigger than current F56 Mini really)
3. Nice interior as I do spend time in there...
4. Sub £10,000 and sub 40,000 miles?
5. Sportier than I have at the moment.
6. No older than 2010, I think.

Thank you all?

Fiesta ST3

not Auto and not amazing inside...…….BUT literally the most fun hatchback you can buy under 10k smile

cheap to service, not bad on Fuel, ST3 gives you nav, heated seats etc

something like this

you will be able find one within your budget fairly easily

True about the st3 however the satnav is absolute rubbish. I always ended up using my phone to be sure.

I liked my fiesta but had more fun in my older 182 and current ep3, probably because they are more raw.

Could have a very decent fn2 for 10k but I'd be tempted to try an abarth.

I'd personally go for a Clio 200 EDC (MK4), which fits all your criteria. Despite the bad press and reviews, I really liked it and the 'box.

The Abarth is also good fun but the MTA gearbox is a single clutch unit, so really quite slow and clunky/jerky.

The Polo GTI for me would need to be the 1.8 and I've not seen any of those In budget.

The MK7 Fiesta ST is the most fun car I've ever driven but obviously not an automatic. Fantastic car though!

Yupp! That's a pretty perfect example in Liquid Yellow, which is the colour I'd have.

I'd recommend a test drive and see what you think. In my opinion, it would make a great daily that's also fun when the mood strikes.
