2017 Cayenne Unrepairable Until Sometime in 2020!
Discussion
My '17 Cayenne SD was recovered to Bristol OPC on 5th September with an air suspension fault, various parts were fitted to try to resolve the issue without success. The part they think is required is on back order with a projected delivery date of ‘sometime' during Q1 2020. So possibly another five months without the car and even then with no certainty that this will resolve the issue
The head of Porsche Customer Service is fobbing me off with promises of a Cayenne in the meantime rather than the Enterprise Hire car I've been supplied but I get the feeling this is BS
I've included the MD's of Porsche UK and Germany in correspondence but never get any reply. I've also complained to Porsche Financial Services and the FCA as its on a PCP but they have eight weeks to respond, still three weeks to go
In summary I'm pi$$ed off!
Anyone else had a similar experience?

Motoring Ombudsman...that’s who you should be complaining to. Porsche GB/your OPC will be a member of the scheme and will comply with findings. Might get them moving if you initiate the process...if you have to go through the whole process obv will take a while obviously. Pretty sure there will be some onus on Porsche GB to have parts available within a reasonable time.
A friend experienced this with his 991 Gt3, waiting three months for a calliper bleed nipple broken by a dealer. In the end with no sign of the part he sold it back to the dealer. Mysteriously a week later the car was for sale at the dealer. We wonder, while they said they could not just drill out the old bit of the calliper and replace the nipple, health and safety and Porsche etc did they actually take that option when the car was theirs.
