We dont regularly hold crowning ceremonies here sadly.

Really? If it had to be anyone, it'd be Nervous. Or Vixpy, but he strikes me as the sort who would arrange things first, rather than just knocking one off...

Lol.

funny though that a hugely entertaining thread about an emotive motoring topic on a motoring forum gets locked, yet a thread about tattoos and piercings runs and runs and runs .. go figure

So Ash matey .. how many tattoos you got then?

Most importantly though it get's closed before any of the technical questions get answered.

Agree though tattoos and piercings are much more important on a public forum.

And dirty laundry that was asked to be kept off the forum but wasn't so the thread was closed by Ted..

And as for the tattoo thread, it is in the non-motoring Pie & Piston forum which is where all the crap gets posted so it doesn't get put on specific motoring forums or any of the other forums here. Not every forum on PH is motoring based.

I don't honestly see anything wrong in asking a question about claims in a Press Release re Cerbera performance boost on a Cerbera forum. It's a motoring topic not dirty laundry and received a lot of interesting posts from many PH'ers. The only reason the thread was closed was because the questions were not answered and people get frustrated and sometimes maybe the posts become a bit too personal. If everyone can keep their head maybe at some point there will be an answer. I'm personally gutted this thread was closed like the last one. Not a satisfactory conclusion at all. Problem is until there are answers it won't go away.

If it were me I'd remove the Press Release from PH, and not publish it until it's been independently validated. Then no-one will question it, in fact I'm sure all would welcome it.

Ceejay

P.S. comments like 'the three stooges' are not welcome on PH. Forums are about debate, if you don't like what you read fine but these to me are personal comments most likely made without an appreciation of all of the facts.

I always ask myself, why do I bother?

I guess because I love everything TVR and technical matters, I like to get to the bottom of things, why some people hate posts that 'question' and 'challenge' ones claims is beyond me.

Ignorance is not a virtue, patience and inquisition all play a part in communities, my wordings are terrible, I totally agree, when I re-read my posts I realise that they might come across brutal or something, but I always mean well chaps.

My car is no longer worked on by any TVR indie or dealer. The car will return as a completely different kettle of fish, but that doesnt alienate me from the TVR world, I will always question anything I find misleading or not detailed.

But now ted has called me a self-crowner, i feel like I've been badged in a way that I dont deserve. I dont sell tuning products, and I dont make money out of anything in the automotive world, I am an outsider with insider love for all automotive things, and my posts have been used as an excuse to close many threads that got very interesting and straight to the point.

Being direct is what its all about, lifes too short and bank accounts too small to beat about the damn burning bush.

God speed.

Your sounding like a broken record, all engines are different how can you give exact figures for that?
Austec will give you a full refund if your not happy with the results. How many more place do that?
And no i do not have anything to to with Austec,Mark Adams or ACT.
Did Joospeed offer you any thing like a full refund if you was not happy before you had any work done?

I don't know or want to know what is going on behind the scene,i thought better of PH.

Pistonheads is a great place!

The Cerbera forum gets heated now and again, because performance and tuning is becoming a much loved and emotional subject for many of us enthusiasts.

And I agree with Tim above, dont go off topic on my thread!

I've been called a self-crowner, and I need to get to the bottom of this!

Well I've had enough, comments like Steves are really offensive quite frankly. Obviously no idea at all about the technical aspects of the thread and quite happy to accept everything he reads in PR 'cos it says so'. Well that's not me I'm afraid.

The answer to the question is imminent, yes it's gonna cost me in the short term but I have to know the true answer. A full, very detailed report will be posted on PH whatever the outcome. Another question though, hopefully this one will be answered. Can anyone lend me a set of decent standard Cerbera 4.5 purple pipes for a day please. And no I don't want SteveT's or those off the other apparently anonymous car.

Ceejay

P.S. For your info Steve, yes he does. OK?

Ash you need a bleedin halo not a crown!
