“Surround sound” type gaming headphones .

Would like to buy some inexpensive ones for sons first Xbox. Guess he needs it to have a mic etc . Happy to buy S/H on eBay etc . What are good ones to hunt out .I learned the name “Turtle beach” today . Few people in “Microsoft “ showroom said they are well made and work well etc .

Dont bother with surround sound headphones.
A standard pair of Turtle Beach headphones with suit him fine. You only have to decide how much you want to spend, it wont make any difference to his gaming if you spend £100+ though.
Oh and get the xbox specific ones as the connectors are different.

Edit: Samsung mobile in ear headphones work great plugged into an xbox controller, even the microphone works.
