I've just received an email inviting me to apply for a ticket to the Classic show at the NEC this weekend. "Come and see killer presenters at the show"
NO, I have absolutely no intention of seeing your "Killer Presenters". What a terrible expression. Keep US slang expressions in the US. Don't let them creep into proper English English.

He's ahead at the moment - he can claim at least two contestants now. Noel Edmunds only managed one fatality and one serious injury.

I wonder who'll be the first to make "Ace" status. In World War 1 and 2 you had to kill at least 5 before you got to call yourself an ace.

Like horror movie trailers where they entice you with such lines as:
“This film will scare you... to death”
“So horrifying you will die”
I tend to give them a miss - still alive!

Edmunds nuked his elephants as well so that must add to his score.

..but you're happy to use American email on an American web platform, though?

He only likes American things that suit him. Proper English is outdated, but he's moved on to many things imported from the US. Perhaps he should go back....oh, wait he enjoys the many US things that are good for him.
