About a month ago my spotify stopped working on command on my Google Home mini. Every time I ask it/her to play something the response is you need to link your spotify account, this can be done in the home app.
It is showing as linked - I have deleted and reinstalled, updated all apps but still getting the same message. Any other thoughts?

This happens to me as well. It's so irritating. It also happens when using Android Auto.
It's almost as if Google are trying to force their own music service on people by making other services difficult.
You need to go through the reset procedure for the speaker and do a fresh setup.
