My car lives outside, it's starting to get a few bit of the usual green gunk/mould forming around the badges etc due to the weather and no dry weather the last few weeks to give it a clean.

Is there a product I can spray on to dissolve this stuff ahead of cleaning the car and saving some elbow grease?

A pre-spray before you wash it with something citrus based like Gtechniq W5 and maybe a pastry style brush to agitate should see you well.

Cheers,

Chris

I've got some of that CarPlan Trade Super TFR 5L which I only need to mix to about a 5% dilution and after spraying I wait about 5 mins then rinse thoroughly. Seems to remove everything with ease, including any wax! Best to do a proper wash afterwards and treat.

Mine accumulates similar crud, I use a Valetpro product, was at a car meet at this place at the weekend and they sold it

You have to dilute it, but it works well to remove most before washing

Get an all purpose cleaner in a spray bottle, spray around the badges & rubber trims around the window be very liberal with it & agitate with a brush then give it a good pressure wash & then wash as you normally would
