Janitor at my work and I always play little pranks on each other. Last week I opened the floodgates when he left his car keys on his desk so I 'hid' his car in the carpark behind a contractors van. Later, when leaving he thought it stolen and he needed to use CCTV to trace where it went!

Fast forward to tonight. Drove 18 miles home on one of Scotlands busiest motorways. You'll have heard it before but he had an inappropriate rear number plate made up and attached it to my car. I didn't see it until I got home.

So. The bar has risen. I need an equally good return. Who has good ideas? As a caveat we are pals and work in a secondary school so it cant be controversial 😂

Is it possible to get a set of keys from eBay that match his. Might be entertaining to see him unable to open his car with “his” keys for a while - especially if there will be cctv evidence. With you saying it is on school premises it does limit options somewhat.

Airbag under his seat in his cupboard,

Block sink and leave taps running

Steal/swap his keys

Glue his cupboard key hole

Dob him as a pedo

You could amputate his leg while he is sleeping.

Aquire some broken winow glass.

Next time he leaves his keys lying around, put down one of his car windows fully, then sprinkle some of the broken glass on the ground outside (if feeling particularly evil, also put some of the seat adjacent to the window which is down. Open the glove box, leave the contents strewn about the front seats.

Intercept him before he calls for the police.

A subtle one, but swap the m and n keys on the keyboard of his computer.

I did this to a colleague, and the first thing he did was lock himself out of his network account (as his password obviously contained one of them). He didn't notice what was different and proceeded to 'adapt' to it over a number of weeks. He then couldn't type properly on any other keyboard in the company for some reason hehe.

Thanks all. He tried this with me last week but I clocked it straight away! Liking the swap keys idea but keep em coming!

Another one - get one of these and hide it in his car somewhere.

That’s genius where did you get that idea? hehe

Courtesy of (I think?) Paul Gascoigne at Rangers: get 2 fish. Hide one in a findable position so when he finds the first one there’s still one remaining.

Ooo thats a good / nasty one.. I be pretty angry at that.

Even better if you can get to the car when he's just discovered it and then casually sit inside it and reveal the window intact. (although it might be wise to lock yourself inside the car first hehe )

Depends how far you're prepared to take it, I mean if you can swipe his car keys and open the bonnet, is unscrewing the spark plugs and dropping ball bearings in to the cylinders a step too far?

I did prank a mate at uni, group of us (well, it was my idea but not my software) c reated a music CD - with a difference. Silence for 10 minutes then a weird mechanical noise culminating in a graunching mechanical noise that sounded like Optimus Prime dropping his guts after a dodgy kebab.

Once the car was started, the CD started to 'play'

We passed him 5 miles down the road waiting for the AA. We only told him after the car had been in the garage for a week. He wasn't amused.

Failing that, tie a length of string around a stone, tie both ends of the string under his car, so as he drives along, the stone bumps the floor pan of the car.

I took a colleague's tape measure, cut off exactly an inch then rerivetted the end bit back on. Over a few days it became rather entertaining.

In a similar vein, get onto his computer hit PrintSCR, open paint, paste, save the file, set that image as his desktop background, right click on desktop and hide icons, he'll probably spend hours trying to figure out why his icons don't work!

Or simply CTRL+ALT+DOWNARROW to flip his screen upside down, very few people know this (although it doesn't work on some GFX cards). I've had people sat all day with their monitor upside down balanced against a wall with this one.
