We need to buy a present for a 12-year old boy with a budget of £25.

He is a sporty yet spoddy boy, who likes tech (Alexa accessory?), football and hockey.

Any suggestions appreciated. It needs to be here Friday at the latest.

£25 amazon voucher. You’ll either get it wrong or spectacularly wrong otherwise IMO.

Unfortunately out of budget as it starts at £37, but driving lessons for kids: https://www.youngdriver.eu/

Hopefully might help others clicking on the link!

Rucksack from favourite team
Headphones
Decent football
Voucher - Amazon or Xbox/PS4.

At that age I’d have much preferred £20 cash stuck to some American candy or something though!

Raspberry Pi
(£35 quid in your country though)

Genuine IT tech that may actually foster a career in the dark arts

Having said that, by the time he’s old enough we may no longer need code monkeys/engineers as the algorithms may have achieved sentience .. or not (more likely)

Dodgy buying that sort of stuff, as mothercare voucher holders and many others have found out to their cost previously. Game have gone previously.

An amazon voucher is a pretty good idea.

Aren’t England playing at Wembley this month in a Euro qualifier? Take him to that, he’ll have a fantastic day out. I did the same when my boy was 11, he still remembers it vividly ten years on.

Clay Pigeon shooting? I'm sure plenty of clubs would be happy to show a young person how to shoot.

BASC do "young shots" events too which are around £25

A track would be pretty expensive I guess.

We got a 3D pen for a 13yr old recently, seems to have gone down quite well.
