Hi all

Might be an unusual one but hear we go. . . . I have a saved letter in Microsoft word which I created some time ago with my address, date, dear sir, yours faithfully etc and every time I want to write a new letter I just change the date, to and content etc and then ( save as ) with a new file name; done!

My uncle wants the same but he gets confused with doing the above steps, is there a way to do it so it's bullet-proof for the elderly?

Cheers

From the title of your post I suspect you already know the answer.

You need to create him his own letterhead then save it as a word template.

Plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to do it.

To save him messing it up, you could protect it and that would make him "save as" to be able to type in it. wobble or something.

That is exactly the definition of a template.
Just save it as a Word template. Its under the file menu I think.
