OK... so I have these hinges that are for gullwing doors (I brought on ebay) .. I've never seen anything like them before . I can't work out how to fit them to the door. They have have 2 screw holes to fit the hinge to the base (block) ... and none from the block? Am I being dumb here - or should they be welded? Any help greatly appreciated.

Don't know about the 'gullwing door' bit but they just look like normal concealed door hinges for house/office doors attached to something by the screwholes normally used to attach them to the door & frame. Possibly shop demo pieces so people can see how they work?

I just had a thought.... as furniture concealed hinges these are dead cheap - about $30... They're selling them on ebay up to $300 per pair for gullwing doors - do you think this is a rip off?
