Saw them last night on the current tour and they were superb.

Only Andy Powell left now but he still cuts it - at 69 he looks, acts and performs like someone 15 years younger.

Would have preferred more of the old stuff but still a great night. Highlight was 'The Pilgrim' - I had forgotten how talented this band were back in the day and so young then to create such outstanding and inventive stuff......I just needed a joint and would have been right back there.

..well worth a look if they are appearing in you neck of the woods.

The Martin Turner version are touring next year so I may check them out as well! (add his name to the bass thread BTW)

Of the two versions I prefer Martin Turner's, seen them both and the original Wishbone Ash over thirty times since 1972.

Sadly I can't see Andy Powell and Martin making up anytime soon.

Very sad. Like John Lees and Les Holroyd with Barclay James Harvest.
