Window Tinting.

I don't know if this is the right forum (section) to be asking this,

I am looking to get the rear windows tinted in my VW Golf Estate (it doesn't have anything at the moment), I carry bikes etc. in there so just want to keep contents away from prying eyes, VW say the standard tint for their cars is 65%, looking at some VWs with tints in passing they look quite transparent (but then others don't, maybe it varies with model)
Ford's look quite dark in comparison, my Leon looks darker than most VW's so not knowing what 65% quite looks like I'm concerned it may be too light - if I'm reading it right 65% relates to the amount of light allowed to pass so the higher %age = lighter tint.

What's the next step up in darkness to 65%? the dealer tells me it goes to limo black (which I don't want) I'm assuming all good installers will carry most options, so wondering if there is a bit of crossed wires in communication - looking on sites there seem to be 50% / 35% which may be right, I think Limo is 5%.

I guess what I am after is something that offers a bit of privacy from passers by and they'd have to make an effort to see what's in the car.

Thoughts / pictures with known %age tints would be helpful.

Had mine done this week, this is what 20% looks like if it helps.....

Limo tint ie the darkest you can go is 5%

That looks good, I ended up sending a chart with the level of tint I wanted, it seemed their chart was the opposite, so the 65% was actually 35% - it's being done tomorrow so fingers crossed it'll be right...
