Might have been a while in my case.

I could not remember what my wife, of 25 years, favourite perfume was so I asked her.

She came back with

"It's Opium, I have loads of bottles but since we never go out i never use it "

"It's probably gone off by now ......

laugh Now that is a classic from the Missus !

Yesterday. She won't come out today (lying hungover on the couch in the kitchen), so off to the village pub now to watch Liverpool/City and enjoy a few pints with middle son.

For a meal nearly a month ago. Don’t go out much now as two young kids.

Married with kids or without ? Big difference . But think long term before you do marry them. Are they still going to give you a stiffy after 15 years etc. I you are unsure , Move along until your find one that will still look good naked years later . Dont slum it with looks .

I'd have to ask, if she has loads of bottles of opium, was it on offer? Or was she expecting a dating frenzy?

For a meal? Quite some time ago, family and work in the way

Just out? Yesterday

To meet friends? Was meant to be yesterday but work got in the way yet again.

To be fair i'm surprised no-one has pulled the one punch gag yet

Take her out quite often.

Problem is, she keeps finding her way back!

I thought they changed their favourite perfume more often than they go out, regardless of frequency, anyway?

Last night, FWIW. I've barely got a sense of smell anyway.

If my SWMBO's favourite perfume was Opium I'd never take her out - it's a revolting perfume IMHO and makes my stomach heave. SiL used to wear it, or bath in it and I ended up buying it off her to pour down the bog, I really really hate it.

And I take my SWMBO out every day, I'm not allowed out on my own, I might buy somethingrolleyes

As a couple, once a week, to a pub or restaurant for eats and drinks.
On my own after work, a couple of times a week.

At least twice a month, usually four. Two to a restaurant for dinner and two to a local wine bar and tapas we like.

We also go for hikes and cycle rides together and take at least one day a month to go out and explore somewhere new.
