2015 VW Polo 1.2 TSI petrol playing up

Good morning P/H experts.
I have a 40,000 mile model owned from new with full VW service history ( Martins VW Basingstoke) which has been faultless until 2 days ago.
Warning messages:
RH screen: Error start-stop system
LH screen: yellow warning lights for Engine Management System and Emission Control system.
It is hesitant to drive particularly as you approach 2200 rpm so I have stopped driving it.
Would it be foolish to continue to drive gently in the meantime ?
It is booked into Martins tomorrow for diagnostics but I would be grateful for any thoughts in the meantime just so I can be forewarned.
