Finance broker?

Hi - i'm looking for a recommendation if possible for an intermediary/broker to help me find an institution to lend me some money for the part purchase of a business i am looking to buy.

Loan would be c£100k-150k depending on final valuation

Does this exist or do i have to go knocking on the doors of banks?

Of the banks i have spoken to, the soonest appointment is a month away which doesn't help as i approach the offer stage having done a lot of due diligence myself already.

Business plan and cashflow has been prepared

Thanks - i spoke to a broker yesterday who didn't envisage a problem but i didn't get a good feel for his firm.

I am also speaking to someone today and will probably follow up on the responses i have had following this conversation
