Chimaera rear screen Tear :/

Managed to get asmall tear in the rear screen on my Chimaera's roof.

Reached out to a trimmer who has provided me an estimate of approx £300....

Has anyone else done this recently and roughly what did this cost? (My initial thought was thats a bit steep)

I'm in the Bucks area but dont mind a drive for a quality job!

I used AJ Trimming in Bourne End some years ago for my Griff rear window he did a grand job not sure what he would charge now?

AJ trimming did my centre consol bolster retrim and new gear knob/ handbrake gaiters about a year ago. Whilst not hood work I was pleased with the quality, timescale and price and would definitely use again.

Might be worth checking your insurers. I got a new rear screen under the windscreen clause in my insurance a few years back. Only paid the excess of £150 if I recall correctly.
