Warning, not a nice story, or happy ending to this news story from the US.

The photos show the car left the road in what looked like a town area dual carriageway.

From the skid marks looks like brakes were on as it slid across the other side of the dual carriageway, then up the verge over the grass and hit a banking hard enough for it to take off fly up into the air and smash into the 2nd story of a building.

Sad story as two dead but how fast must it have been going when it hit the banking to launch it into the 2nd floor of a large building, just thinking of the forces involved of that is horrific.

The video gives an idea of the distance traveled in the air. I'm guessing well over 100 mph when it hit the banking to take off like that?

Unfortunately this is just another example of the old `be stupid, get cut' adage, that ironically also comes from the US.

Old joke/Clarksonism... Why did Porsche call it the 911... So Americans knew what number to call when they crashed it.

Unfortunately these two were possibly similar to the tw*ts who hire a supercar for their wedding day, and then proceed to total it, by driving it in a way, that far exceeds their driving ability.

I am going to assume that was a "watch this" moment.
