Bought the wrong colour mirror covers for a Transit Connect once, but nothing like a City Break in Mogadishu. When's your flight, OP?
Sadly had to cancel it, Groupon say it e 14 days before I get my money back.

I purchased my first XC70 by mistake. Well I say mistake, I went to see a Saab 9-5 which had been sold, so I looked on Autotrader to see what was about as I was ready to get a new car. The XC70 popped up, so I went to see it and ended up with it. Had done zero research.
My then 6 month old managed to purchase a pre-order game on the Playstation Network by bashing buttons on the controller. Managed to get that one refunded.

Bought an Ex-Police Mondeo ST24 complete with holes in the roof and manifold gasket leak.
Post pub bid of £300odd on eBay and woke up having won the bloody thing. To be fair though it was a bit of a giggle to hoon around in (despite the tractor sounds from the leaking gasket) and I sold it on for about the same amount a year later.

I am sure most people in their 40s have bought several CDs from the Britannia Music Club by mistake. You had to buy a certain amount of CD's from them a year and every month they would send you a card with their recommended CD. If you forgot to send this card back stating you didn't want the CD, then a few weeks later "The best of rave" would end up on your doormat.
Harder to leave than Scientology, I ended up having to buy more CDs that I didn't want to fulfil the contract obligations before they would let me leave.

Was it fast.. faster than expected? And modified in anyway?
A friend of ours bought an ex police Cavalier SRi that was ex armed police... he seemed to think it had modified suspension and engine. We weren't convinced.

Brittania DVD club for me as well. Apparently I didn't learn the lesson with the CDs. Harder to leave than Scientology, I ended up having to buy more CDs that I didn't want to fulfil the contract obligations before they would let me leave.

OK, did not notice the title mispelling when posting! Can I pretend it was deliberately misspelt it.
I often wake up at stupid times and can't get back to sleep so spend the time writing emails and forum posts, that is my excuse.
I thought you'd done it deliberately which was why I read the post I often wake up at stupid times and can't get back to sleep so spend the time writing emails and forum posts, that is my excuse.

Have a whole stack of Brittania CDs, seemed like a good idea in the 1980s, ended up with play once and forget music. Still can’t bring myself to throw them out though!Harder to leave than Scientology, I ended up having to buy more CDs that I didn't want to fulfil the contract obligations before they would let me leave.
Two MINIs.
The first was a mistake because rather than wait for the 5-door to be released 'she' promised it would not be a problem loading young children in the back. Three months later it was a problem so MINI 1 was swapped for MINI 2, now with five doors. The second mistake was that it was a) still a MINI, and b) despite the extra pair of doors still completely unsuitable as a family car. Two new cars in the space of 6 months. Neither of which were fit for purpose. 'She' doesn't get much say in car buying in our household any more.
