What do you think about the new T-roc R?

I'm looking at all ideas for my next car and wonder what you think of the new T-roc R? It's like a Golf but bigger and with bigger grill.

It's a new model so I can't imagine you will find many owner reviews, so may be better off just watching youtube reviews. Personally think its a compromised solution. It's a great engine but putting it in a car like that boosts the list price to c.£40k which for a small SUV seems crazy and almost double the entry level version.
