Standard apologies for the mail link. I recall getting up early to watch this and shouting in celebration as Schumacher went out only to be gutted as it became clear Hill couldn't continue. Any shred of doubt in my mind (already nil after option 13) disappeared in 1997 although I'll admit I hadn't heard the suggestion that Schumacher's car was damaged.
