Hi
I'm sure you've all been asked a thousand times before but I would like to know what key things I should check (aside from history, logbook etc) when buying a cerbera, what are the most common faults to look for?
Is it really better to go for the 98 on models or are most problems with earlier cars sorted by now.
Am I being a little optimisitic hoping to buy a decent 4.5 litre for £22K?

I was told to look for '98 cars or newer.
A lot of people think this is b*ll*cks and that a 'sorted' early car is just as good. I would agree with that but I think the chances of finding a 'sorted' car increase if you go for '98 onwards.
Choosing a cerbie is an inexact science and a certain amount of luck is involved. All you can do is try to stack the odds in your favour (get it inspected by a TVR dealer/independent etc...)
