I just checked back and I paid £148.16 for a pair of Brembo front discs for my 4.3 including postage from motor doctor in March this year, assuming the rears are a bit cheaper you might save a few quid by trying them, but I think they are based in Germany and the pound has taken a bit of a hit since then.

That's cheap for the disc's, same parts for the DB9.
The disc's are the same price as the brembo pads now!!!!
Great find, if anyone finds a great price for the pads i'd be interested.
Agreed - ordered front and rear !The disc's are the same price as the brembo pads now!!!!

Also looking for pads, but still got a few thousand on mine. There won’t be any wear over the winter so will tuck the discs away and get them all sorted in the spring.
Pleasure ! amazing how cheap you can service these cars once you start seeking out parts.
Just those pesky brake pads to go...
There's plenty of uber cheap ones around, but I want the best compromise between performance/price/anti squeal and sensor cut out, so probably where feedback from those who have replaced them will be invaluable.

I went with Porterfield all round, I think they came out around £400 for both axles, direct from Porterfield, not cheap but much reduced brake dust compared to the OEM pads, I do however get a tiny squeak in the last few feet when pulling up at junctions but hardly noticable, performance feels equal to originals, and they will accomodate the wear sensors.
Edit, I just checked the service folder, they came out at £363 including postage, I went for the R4S which are high performance road/occasional track day pad rather than the R4 which I think is a hardcore track day pad.

if you drive normally, these brake pads are enough!

But who buys an Aston Martin then drives "normally"? If these pads are genuinely as good as the best pads then fantastic; I love a bargain too. But if they're not then why would you do it? Do you put budget tyres on your Aston too and use the cheapest oil you can find at service time?30€ for front (ABS 37898)

And please nobody start talking about brake dust. Just clean your wheels people. Sorry for the rant but some things just need saying.
